Camberwell Whisky Chamber is a boutique whisky-focused bottle shop in Melbourne, offering a curated selection of premium spirits alongside in-store tastings and masterclasses. As a new entrant in a competitive, heritage-driven market, the brand required a strong social presence to establish awareness, credibility, and local recognition, without the support of a website or influencer partnerships.
The social strategy focused on top-of-funnel awareness through storytelling, education, and atmosphere-led content, highlighting whisky discovery, expertise, in-store experience. Content was created to feel intimate and cinematic, utilising slow motion pours, tight crop and warm moody compositions which echoed the in-store chamber experience. This approach helped define a cohesive visual identity that felt considered, timeless and inviting, positioned Camberwell Whisky Chamber as a place to slow down and explore.
Working closely with the owners, I led the social media strategy, content planning, and execution across Instagram and Facebook. My role included defining content direction and tone of voice, content creation and managing meta ads to amplify local reach. Within two months, the strategy delivered measurable growth in reach and engagement, building early brand awarness to support future event promotion, foot traffic and digital expansions.
